Hello. I'm a new cruiser and will be sailing Carnival on the Pride for the Mexican Riveria cruise in July. We are taking a cruise for our 10th anniversary. We will also be sailing with some friends of ours and I think both of us are looking for rooms with Balcony. I have no idea which room no. to try and get. Is there a certain side we should be on? I'm definately not a night owl so would like something where there is not going to be a lot of noise. I think we would also like the rooms to be somewhat close together...any suggestions?

Thanks so much

:)

You might have better luck getting some responses by posting on the Carnival thread for your particular cruise and ship.

Good luck.

The middle of the ship, is like the axis of a seesaw. There is Generally less motion there. There are usually, elevators, a center bank close by. Don't get the rooms diretly near the center bank, as the elevators are used 24 hours a day, DING! I've found that 6, or 7 rooms froom the middle elevators work well for us. Less noise from the elevator lobby areas. Metrowon

HAving had a cabin directly by the elevator bank-- never once heard the dings of those.

If all 4 are going ot be in the same cabin-- check out cabin 6232 for an awesome balacony. This cabin holds 4 people and most sailings willnot let you book if there is only 2 people.
