scotts8826 Posted February 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2006 I just booked three rooms for my family of 5 (me, wife, three sons 16, 13, 11) and MIL. We sail on March 19th. We have three inside cabins on the main deck (deck 4). The location looks convenient but how is the noise level? Also, is there a charge to climb the rock wall? jwlane Posted February 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2006 The location looks convenient but how is the noise level? Also, is there a charge to climb the rock wall?We had 4319 a couple of years ago, and enjoyed deck four's closeness to the "inside" action (dining room, shops, theater, casino). Very quiet. No charge for climbing.
rzrback Posted February 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2006 Congrats on the booking. We have two JS for that date also. We started with D1 and because of price drops moved up to the JS. Watch for more price drops!:)
bronco881 Posted February 15, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2006 We are leaving Sunday for Rhapsody on Deck 3. I'll prob. post a review.. of course I'm a newbie to cruising so I am not sure how much help I'll be. Hope you have a good time on your cruise. cruiseman_tx Posted February 15, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2006 There is no charge for the rock climbing wall. Can't help with cabin location/noise, as we always get a balcony cabin.
Lightsluvr Posted February 15, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2006 You will have a great time! Rhapsody is our favorite ship! So may friendly Texans are usually delightful cruise companions. You should enjoy the fourth deck. However, keep checking the RCCL website in case there is a last-minute price drop on Oceanview staterooms. We strongly recommend "rooms with a view" particularly when coming into and departing ports. It would be so cool if your family could have a "triangle" of two inside and one outside room so the whole family could take turns at watching the waves, oil rigs, etc. etc. Just a thought. Bon voyage! LL
Ali-in-Texas Posted February 16, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2006 We were on deck 4 this Jan in an inside. We loved the location. There are doors separating the hallways from the centrum so there is hardly any noise in the halls. Always seemed very quiet to me.
