casino in hawaii?

Hi:

Looking for info on casino hours while in Hawaii.

My ship is in and between islands for 6 (7?) days, then at sea for 5. Is it true that the casino will be closed while in and between the Islands, and will only open when the ship leaves the Hawaiian waters? Even the slots? Any bingo?...

When we did the Spirit's Honolulu to Vancouver sailing in 2003, the casino opened every night about an hour after we left that day's port, plus it was open the whole time we were on the 5 day Pacific Crossing.

 

We're doing the 10/2 Honolulu to Ensenada sailing this year and my DD and Mom can't wait to hit the machines.

thanks for the information. I've gotten different answers from the agents at Carnival. Nice to get the 'lowdown' from someone who's been there :)
