Web Check In

I finally decided to call again. Once again the call taker asked for our passport dates and our home city/state. She told me she would email them right over. She was very kind as was I, however I doubted that they documents would actually come. When I asked her, what if they don't come, can we still board the ship? She told me absolutely, printing the documents prior to arrival is optional. This was a relief as I truly thought I would never get them emailed. Well, a while later, there they were, in my inbox! So I guess persistence is the key. Now to pass the COVID test on the 4th.

For my Nov 27 Seashore cruise, the 20-day mark came and went.  A few days later, it finally let me finalize check-in.

I’m now 19 days before a cruise and am not sweating it.  I already received my e-ticket / health questionnaire / luggage tags in an attachment to an email.  If necessary, I’ll use the machine onboard to register my credit card.  But I expect to finalize online check-in in the next two weeks.

Cruising with MSC is trying to relax my desire for things to done on schedule / as promised.
