Marriott North Fort Lauderdale

I stayed there once. It is a very nice hotel. The only problem is, it is not close to anything. Your cab far is going to increase since it is not very close to the port.

We had a car so eating wasn't an issue. The hotel does have a dining room.

It was a couple of years ago and at that time they did NOT have a van available for pickup at the airport or take anyone to the port. You might want to check on this. If they don't, think about renting a car.

Car in this area is very helpful. Lots of shopping and dining options about 1/4 to 1/2 mile away. Hotel probably has a courtesy van and will drive you. You could walk it too.

Standard Marriott in an office park. No surprises.

We stayed there 2 years ago. Very nice. Princess picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel and then picked us up the next day and brought us to the ship. We were given vouchers for breakfast buffet at the hotel which was great.

The others are right - not close to anything but we arrived late afternoon, walked around the hotel and then had dinner in the dining room and went back to room. Weren't there long enough to see any sights anyway.

All in all recommend hotel.
