We usually park at the airport. You can catch the skytrain right at the YVR long term parking lot. Another option if you were planning to drive down the day before is to stay at one of the Richmond hotels that has stay/park/fly deals. They all have shuttles that will take you to the airport and you can get the skytrain there.

If you do want to park downtown, there are several lots that offer cruise ship rates around $30 - 35 per day. Some require pre-booking, and some are first come first served. Also note some are more secure than others:

The airport long term lot is my first choice.

Another option is a tow yard (Vehicle storage service) that offers enhanced security from break-in's.  You get a discount as you are getting there without a tow truck.

Great info....will look at the YVR long term lot....or the Casino lot also.....which is close....Thanks....

Now the testing is gone for border I wonder how long the cruise ships will keep the test to get on??

The YVR has discount rates for BCAA members and much better deal than parking downtown, with quick service via Skytrain to Waterfront Station with a short 2 block walk to Canada Place.

Yes, hopefully the cruise ship testing will be gone soon and for flights to US.

The Casino lot does not allow you to park overnight or a day.  Your vehicle will likely be towed when you are gone crusin.

Looked up the long term lot at the airport YVR and loaded in my bcaa card #......wow....nice price at $84 for the whole week....and then just take the skytrain right from the lot to the ship....easy peasy.....prob what we will do and then stop quickly and get antigen test at that switch place in Richmond using our aeroplan account.....things are starting to work out.....need a week  to just relax.....
