scotts8826 Posted February 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2006 We have a family cruise in a few weeks and we will be doing the stingray excursion. However, our group includes a frail mid-70's MIL. I am afraid the stingray excursion and snorkeling trip will be too physical and too much sun for her. What other activity could you recommend for her to do while the rest of us are at stingray city? Sightseeing? Shopping? Scott

Scott Scott, on the stingray excursion the only hard part of it is getting up and down the steps and/or ladder The water is about two to five feet have not done the GC tour but have talked to others who have Have been on about 10 stingrays excursions all over and they are the same. On the snorkeling part bring along a air matress or check with the tour and see if they supply them. Has your MIL ever been to these activities? if not get her out there Paul
piggs Posted February 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Our 70 something parents came along to watch the grandkids have fun. They never got in the water but stayed in the shade of the boat. Bring 'em along! Our guide even brought a ray up close to the boat for them.
