slaine29 Posted March 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2022 Does anyone know if they are allowing or will allow independent shore excusions this summer in the med. Can you get off the ship and have a mooch around the port on your own or do you still need to be in an official MSC excursion. This is the deciding factor for us, as we love exploring ports of call and help support the local businesses. Factoring official excursion will push the cruise out of our budget 😔
defbref Posted March 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2022 Starting from April 1, 2022 Guests will be able to go ashore independently according to local requirements which are continually monitored and subject to change. Guests who are travelling with unvaccinated children are also able to go ashore independently. For the best ashore experience, we recommend all guests explore destinations with the comfort, convenience, and safety of an MSC Cruises Shore Excursion, bookable pre-cruise and on board. Some excursions will require an official Covid certificate to access some venues (I.e. museums, churches,..) or to participate any event. from : Travel Requirements Mediterranean | MSC Cruises
