Parking at the Houston Pier?

Hi. We are cruising on the Dream on the 18th of March and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the parking. Do I drop the bags off first and then park or park and carry bags? I will have my kids and DH with me. I have only parked at the Galveston pier, but it was three years ago and I don't remember at all.

Thanks for the help!

you can drop off the bags right at the entrance to the building where the porters take them and then go park you car.

The parking lot is directly next to the terminal, maybe a 30 second walk, it is very convenient.

remember you need to pay for the entire week in cash only when you get there.

If you're just packing carry on bags, you could park first and then go to the terminal building.

It's a shorter walk from the parking lot to the terminal than from the terminal to the ship. Here's a google photo of the Houston terminal area.

The ship moored vertically in this photo is where the NCL cruise ships dock. You can see the covered ramp leading to the ship. The building below is the terminal, and the parking lot is just to left of the terminal.
