They used to because I was treated to a 75 min massage back in the day and had use of the whole spa..

I had a 60 minute massage on the Horizon in February. When it was over she escorted me to the front desk. The last few times I’ve had massages it’s been the same. They push their Elemis products pretty hard. So they escort you to the front and show you all of the stuff they insist you can’t live without. It may have been different a long time ago but now it’s all about reaching those sales goals. I wish it could go back to the old days. I hate the sales push but I love the massages too much to avoid them.

Cruise Tips TV gave a tip for this, she said let the spa desk know before your treatment that you aren't interested in purchasing any products.

Good to know.  I had a massage on a previous cruise years ago and was so put off by how pushy they were I never went back.
And I don't mind saying no.  It was excessive.

I hear ya i've only gotten a treatment once on a cruise line (Norwegian) and was put off by the sales pushing. We didn't buy anything and just asked them what the products were so we could get them later. That was years ago and never got it.

My mom and brother both got treatments on an MSC ship and I WARNED them about the sales pushing. My brother thankfully had no money so he just got the name but my mom purchased something and gave it to me. I used it a handful of times.

Wow I never thought of that. I’ll try that on my next cruise in July.
