Aft Cabin on Splendour or Legend

I really love aft balconeys. However, only deck 6 aft cabins remain for my sailing. Has anyone been in one of these? Is the balconey larger than a standard balconey (the deck plans shows they are - but others have said no).

 

Also is the crew deck below noisy?

We had a center aft balcony, deck 6, on Splendour of the Seas. It was a deeper balcony than those on the sides. We looked down on the deck below, and there was quite a bit of superstructure. I never heard anything from the deck below.

Was it deep enough to accomodate a lounge chair? I have a hold on 6126 now (2 down from the center) but the corner and next to the corner also appear to be available.

 

Do you think the corner would be less obstructed?

Yes, there was enough foom for 2 lounge chairs and a little table. My DH slept out there one night!

We were on the Splendour in November 2004 for a transatlantic cruise. We had a Deck 7 aft cabin. The balcony was wonderful! We had two loungers and a chair and a small table on our balcony and still plenty of room. It will spoil you!
