Taxi for Hire?

Hi! I will be in St. Martin this May and was wondering if we could hire a taxi for the day. Is this a service that is offered? We will be going to the Bayside Stables in the morning for the 2 hour ride and from there we would like to have lunch somewhere, then to Marigot, then to Front Street. Is there any must-sees while on the island? Any recommendations for lunch?

I have used Sunny Liston tours in St. Thomas for his Island / Shopping and Beach tour. Sunny has a couple of friends that provide the same type of tour on St. Maarten. It's very hard to find this type of sevice on the Island.
