The Rhapsody was my first cruise 2.5 years ago, and DH and I LOVED it! Things that I really enjoyed included:

Chocolate buffet (take your camera--tons of cool things to photograph!)

Royal Caribbean Cake (flourless chocolate cake that still haunts my dreams)

Towel Folding Class (it was neat--and much easier than you might think)

Line Dancing Classes (Cotton Eye Joe was my new fav song! :)

The Quest (trust me...go...it is hilarious!)

DH also really liked:

Banana Rum Cake

Stingray swim with Nativeway in Grand Cayman

Basically, the whole experience!

Have a great time!

I am considering booking on the Rhapsody in July. It is scheduled to depart from Houston, and visit Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. This will be my vacation for the summer with my two kids, ages 19 and 15. What are the best shore excursions for these three ports for me and my kids? We were on the NCL Jewel in Dec. 2005 and visited Grand Cayman and did the Sting Ray City tour. It was great and well worth the money, but would like to do something else at Grand Cayman this time, any suggestions? I have never been to Key West, but but have been to Cozumel and took in Paradise Island there, but would like to do something else in Cozumel if possible. By the way, I love departing from Houston, there are a lot of Texans that board there and I find these people to be excellent travel companions. I was on an Alaska cruise in the summer of 2002, and there were a lot of people from the New England area of the US on that cruise and they just are not as much fun as people from the south, but what do I know, I am just a small town Kansas boy.
