NYCruiseMom Posted March 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Does the Sun have the stocked mini bars in the cabins? What is in them and what are their prices? Thanks I don't know about all cabins..but I was in 8279 and my friend was in 8276. we both had mini bars and neither one of us touched anything in them. $2 for a bag of M&Ms. $1.75 for a can of Coke. $6.50 for a tiny bottle of Kahlua, etc. there were several different kinds of liquor, a small bottle of champagne, a semi-large bottle of Evian is $4.50 (we brought our own bottled water and bought a bunch more on St. Thomas, $1 a bottle)
Big Al B. Posted March 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2006 I'm assuming that these are contained in what were the guest refrigerators. Is that correct? If so, will the room steward empty it out so it can be used?
cruiserssandr Posted March 1, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Yes you can have the room steward remove all the items if you wish.
Hockey19 Posted March 1, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2006 We had a mini bar in our AE mini suite. I had to ask three times to have the mini bar removed and all they finally did was put it in the credenza in the room.
trigster Posted March 2, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Does the Sun have the stocked mini bars in the cabins? What is in them and what are their prices? Thanks anyway, back to the point, i was on the sun last month and while the cabin has a mini-fridge, there was nothin in it. the only things for sale in the cabin were evian and peligrino, which were an easy sale 1st thing in the morning in a hung-over state. we put our own smuggled aboard grey goose and red bulls in the fridge. if there were only an in-cabin ice maker... I guess it depends on the cabin. our mini bar was well stocked last week on the Sun, but it was not in the fridge. we had a mini suite, so we had plenty of storage space and it didn't bother me. we just left it all untouched.
