Deck 10 - too low??

I am doing a transatlantic and my goal is to be center ship and a lower deck balcony to minimize the impact of inclimate seas.  But I am not familiar with any view obstructions from the life boats.  Originally, the computer assigned Deck 14 but I was able to move to Deck 10 - but then I saw that the lifeboats might be an issue for the view.

Anyone have experience on Deck 10 or so?  Thoughts about different decks?

My last cruise was on deck 8. It was a limited view balcony room (8042Z), and yea that lifeboat was directly outside the balcony. Looking at the deck plans, 9042Z (one deck up) isn't listed as obstructed, but i'm sure the lifeboat is in your field of view if you're out on the balcony. I don't know if this helps.

We were on a caribbean cruise, and had really nice weather, so I can't speak to what it would be in more harsh conditions.
