Pride CD to be Posted May 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Colette...I am sorry to inform you that Carnival's best Cruise Director hung up his hat in 2003 after 16 years as a Carnival Cruise Director. His closest friend and Carnival's second best CD, Corey Schmidt took over Triumph. Last month, Corey also hung up his hat and now has his own bird show on land. All of Carnival's CD's are great, you'll have a great time! Pride CD to be Posted May 20, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 20, 2004 According to my PVP at Carnival, and several other sources John is gone...also I saw a quote of him saying he's leaving permanently in 2003 (which would be at least 5 months ago) Sorry for any confusion, apparently everything I know seems to be wrong. tef: I wish I was privy to all the information you are, it would make my day to know every last thing about Carnival even though that isn't possible Enjoy your cruise, Triumph is great. Hopefully the guy that plays acoustic guitar in the lobby is still there...he was great and you could hear him in the elevators...I loved it.
