CruiseeCrazee Posted July 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2022 I've got three solo cruises lined up for the next year and I find myself wondering how the cruise lines will seat me in the dining rooms. I'm an introvert and would generally rather sit alone than with strangers, but I know there's (obviously) no tables set up for one person in dining rooms. So my question is, will the dining room automatically seat me alone since I am a party of one? Or automatically with strangers to fill out a table? What about if I specifically ask to be seated alone? In case it makes a difference by cruise line or seating type, my upcoming cruises are: Celebrity Silhouette (anytime dining) Celebrity Reflection (early seating) RCCL Oasis of the Seas (early seating)
croozbabe Posted July 29, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2022 You can request to be seated alone and they will gladly accommodate you.
Thomaso Posted August 28, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2022 You can choose My time dining on RCCL. They will seat you in a table alone. I use this option if traveling solo. I recommend making the reservations for each night in the app before getting on the ship, the lines might be really slow on Oasis class ships. KatieDub Posted September 4, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2022 The don't have specific tables for one but they will seat you solo at a 2-person table if it's what you want.
