Locals - Island Tour?

Doe anyone know if there is anyone who will "show you the Island" for a flat fee? We were in Roatan last year on a cruise & it cost $100.00 plus a tip for the whole day for a "cab" and driver to show us anywhere we wanted to go. I don't want to do a "traditional" type of tour from the ship.
