Help with cove balcony location on Mardi Gras

I'm planning my second cruise (first was over 15 years ago) and am looking to get a cove balcony in the middle portion of the ship this time to help minimize a bit of sea sickness I had on the first. I also like the added privacy the cove offers.

However, I'm not sure where to get a room that would be quiet at night (midnight - 8 am) since the deck above is a public area. Obviously being below the gym or center stage would probably be bad. But what about being below "cherry on top" or "java blue"?

We've had 5385 and 5450 both are aft of the mid elevators those locations are very convenient unless you spend a lot of time in the casino. Another thing about MG cabins is that some have the bed by the window and some sofa by window. Having had it both ways the sofa by the window makes the cabin seem more spacious.

Thanks, I'll be sure to call and ask about the sofa being closest to the window. How was the noise level of those rooms?
