Can anyone tell me the situation with the Library onboard?

My 14 year old is an AVID reader and was very excited about the fact that there may be a library onboard. Will she be allowed in on her own? What is the situation with the reading material?

As long as your 14 goes in and signs out the books she wants and then returns them, I don't see a problem. They has quite a few books and daily news in the library. She will go in and sign the books out by your cabin #.

Enjoy your cruise.

You might want to pack a few books for her that she already wanted to read. I was very interested in reading material on board and after perusing the topic with the search feature learned:

1. The libraries are fairly up to date but not overly well stocked.

2. They tend to be somewhat depleted by the 2nd day of sailing.

3. Most people keep the books out until the final day of the cruise.

4. They do have some books for young reader- but the descriptions were vauge.

Happy reading.

Also, make sure you read the daily papers for the library times.;) The library is only open for about 2 or 3 hours a day and that's it. We went by there several times and it was closed and you could not sign out books. Also, the games closet would be locked. We didn't pay attention to the times very well, so we were not able to take full advantage

of the library. Enjoy!:)
