Okay... generally I cruise down below, so I'm a little clueless when it comes to the oceanview rooms. I guaranteed a 6A and believe I have been upgraded to a room on the Empress Deck. (On the Sensation) Just curious... is the only difference between category 6s just the floor the room is on? Why are the upper decks so much more desirable? (Assuming they are from the difference in prices when buying rooms on these floors)

Thanks for humoring my curiosity!

Yes, the only difference in the various category 6 cabins is the deck they are on. They are all the same size and have the same size window. The higher ones are just closer to the public decks and action. Word of warning though, there are reports of more noise the closer one gets to a public deck, dining room, kitchen, etc.

Hope this helps!
