Park of Molentargius

Can anybody provide a recent review of the Park of Molentargius and details on how best to get there from the port in Cagliari, including how far away it is from the port? Is it easy and worthwhile to see the pink flamingos?

Not a review as such, but we went there and commented on this previous thread,:and you can of course pull up all previous threads containing the word CAGLIARI by using the SEARCH option.

Do you know if the bus stop near the cruise port is called Romo (la Sanita)?

Sorry but I cannot remember the name.The port shuttle bus dropped us either there or very close to it. I THINK it was near a piazza but that is all, so can only suggest you  try googling something like Cagliari Bus Route Map or something similar as it was a bus route map where we found it.
