Mariner - diff. between deck 6 and 8?

Hello-

 

If there were similar rooms on deck 6 or 8, what factors might make one better than the other. Anyone have any personal experience to present a preference?

I can't tell you about the differences, but we were on the Mariner 2 weeks ago and were on Deck 8 and loved it. Windjammer is on Deck 11 and Promanade is Deck 5 so we were right in the middle. The elevators are slow, so we took the stairs a lot. We were in 8350 Balcony room. Loved it! Have a great trip!

The only difference would be if you are choosing an Aft cabin.Deck 6 has a rather expansive deck,which is used for nothing...That keeps you from looking straight down to the water...We still enjoyed our corner there however...

 

Very easy up or down either way...
