We would never have called for a walker that folded up. We did call (yes, we called) when we traveled with a Seeing Eye Dog who was a 70 pound German Shepherd. Honestly, that was the only place we could put the dog was in the bulkhead. Often we would call and be put there and then they would move us so we would have to call multiple times. My Mom definitely would have preferred to not be disabled and have to use that space but she was. Those who are disabled have many challenges that those of us who are able bodied do not realize.

Im not sure if a person not able to walk more than say ten feet with out walker and one that is blind has the advantage. Toss in a dog to the mix I don't know. There are plenty of healthy people who bring there dogs because they need a comfort friend  - we board ours.
