Eurodam books?

Wish I could answer that, but my experience with most ships is that the book exchange can be full of empty shelves.  We are cruising soon and my kindle is fully loaded.  The libraries were a wonderful asset once upon a time. Rotterdam has started up with it, and a few other ships have a library, but I'm not familiar with the particulars.

Zuiderdam opened a library a few days after the WC began. It is a nice space, but not a space where you would relax and read.

There is a set of shelves for exchanging books. I brought a bunch of books with me to leave there. I have been leaving 3 at a time and within hours they are gone (except for 1), so people are looking.

HAL furnished the library with quite a selection of books. It looks like they provided 5 copies of each book they purchased. I would have liked it better with a larger selection with fewer copies.

I was on the Eurodam just over a year ago, in the Observation Lounge if you entered on the left hand side there was a group of free standing bookshelves. Two of these seemed to be dedicated to books, the others had board games and puzzles. The ship was at about 50% capacity and there appeared to be a decent selection. I would image that 100% there would be more books rotating about.

I agree with Rochelle, I was on the Eurodam last April . There was a reasonable range of novels and also Lonely planet books.  An added bonus on our 19 day cruise was the book club which was led by the cruise director and where we read an Elizabeth Strout novel.  I understand that the book club may only be offered on longer cruises.
