Fiumicino to Civitavecchia transfer - May 2023 - Advice needed

Hi All,

 

First cruise planned for early May out of Civitavecchia port. Solo traveller

 

Planning to fly into Fiumicino 2 days cruise departs and stay in hotel in Civitavecchia until cruise departs.

 

Flying from the UK and can either arrive to airport at 10am, 7.30PM or 9PM (9PM cheapest).

 

I'd had a look on the forums for airport transfer and found https://www.romecabs.com/ https://www.civitavecchiacabservice.com/ and https://www.romefiumicinotransfer.com/

These only seemed to offer private transfers in which I'd rather have a shared transfer if cheaper.

I'd seen train lines that run from the airport to Rome and then Rome to Civitavecchia but I'd need to get the earlier flight (about £50 more than later flight).

 

if anyone can give some advice so I can easily weigh my options for getting to Civitavecchia that would be great.

this company offers shared transfers though I am not sure how they manage shared pick-ups.
