Is Marriott Waikiki Beach worth it?

We chose the Marriott Waikiki Beach for our 2 nights pre-cruise mainly because they offer a NCL check in at the hotel. At $500, is it worth it? We're a family of 4...mom, dad, two kids ages 5 and 6.

When are you staying? Is that the cost for both nights or per night?mcboo

sorry, I should have included that. That's for both nights, not including tax, April 2007 (booked with NCL.) I just know there are a lot of other options, but the convenience of the NCL check in hooked me!

April is peak season. So with the added benefit of NCL check in and not having to lug the bags to the port I think it is a good deal for a good hotel.

We stayed there in September 2004 for our vacation in Hawaii and loved it. I think it's worth the money.

Thank you! I've been doing some more reading on the property and think it will be perfect for us. Anything for CONVENIENCE when it comes to traveling with the kids! :)
