On-line check in question

We are a group in several rooms and for booking purposes some rooms were booked with some families split etc....for example I am booked with someone else's child in my room etc....My question is when we do online check in are those "per room" like will I need to have that child's info when I complete my online registration or can that child's mother (who is booked in another room) complete online booking for her child?  Basically, my question is if online booking is per room or per individuals?  TIA

It is per room and you will need their info, but you can check in at the 14 day mark, fill out a check in time and all your info and go back anytime in the 14 days before the cruise and fill in the childs info.

With minors, I couldn't say for sure, but if it's adults in the same room, the other adults just need to the booking number to add to their Carnival account and they can enter their own information for check in. 

The arrival appointment time chosen is automatically for everyone in the same room.
