Leaving the ship a day early?

Does Holland America allow you to leave the ship on the first day in port instead of the second day(disembarking day)?

Yes, you can leave on the first or second day.

 

We will be making our first cruise ever in November and I wasn't sure what it meant that we will be arriving on December 15th in Buenos Aires but the last day listed was December 16th. They responded by saying that it meant that we could stay onboard until the 16th but that we could disembark on either the 15th or 16th, the choice is up to us. We have decided to disembark on the 15th in the afternoon.

Yes we did. Our cruise finished in rome.  The day before we were in Naples   We decided to leave in Naples as we found a much more convenient flight home..we have been in rome numerous times so we didn’t mind missing it. We did have get to permission from HA before the cruise started because they had to do something with customs/immigration.
