airgirl Posted June 11, 2004 #27 Share Posted June 11, 2004 The cave tubing with my teens was the best ever. The caves are unique and I think there are not many places in the world that offer something like this. But you can always find some monkeys or some snorkle tour. My teens enjoyed the hard trek through the rainforest and the amazing caves. The dirt roads were an eye opener to the kids to see how other people live. I did not take the ships tour - but a private one and they gave us an extra cave in the tour for way less money. maria stallings

Travelitis Posted June 12, 2004 #29 Share Posted June 12, 2004 I'm trying to come up with something suitable for my 6 yr. old that my 13 and 10 yr. olds will enjoy. I'd thought of the zoo or taking the ferry to Caye Caulker. When we went to Belize 2 yrs. ago, we were the 1st people off the ship and the 1st back on, so we didn't see anything other than the strip mall and boardwalk.
