suexxx Posted March 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2006 hi all, have read on this thread about FABREEZE. Have been looking for it and can only find FABULON IRON FREE which is in a pump bottle. Is this the one to buy? thanks again
kaseyoz Posted March 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2006 fabreeze and fabulon are two different products. Fabreeze is only a spray that gets rid of smells while fabulon gets rid of wrinkles. You may need both!!

Tropicalshowers Posted March 11, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I bought mine at Coles as well (QLD). Amazing stuff. I have been experimenting on different fabrics and the most heavy duty so far has been a denim skirt and it still worked a treat. Have decided to tranfer it into a small spray bottle for our trip though. Cheers
karmac Posted March 11, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 11, 2006 hi all, have read on this thread about FABREEZE. Have been looking for it and can only find FABULON IRON FREE which is in a pump bottle. Is this the one to buy? thanks again I'm taking both and got both of them in Coles. They should be near each other & are in similar bottles. The Febreeze was with those static cloth things that you put in the dryer. Karen
kaseyoz Posted March 11, 2006 #8 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I have tried woolies where i nornally shop and couldnt find it. I was at a different centre last week and checked out bi lo they had it there so bought some. i havent tried it yet- fabulon that is. Fabreeze i got a small sample bottle a while ago in the mailbox and will be taking that as i felt the room had a smoky air to it at night. We are non smokers and i am very sensitive to smoke. I think it filters through the a/c units
lainie06 Posted March 11, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Hi Kasey, Nerissa, Karen & Sue - thanks for info on Fabulon. Feels a bit like a treasure hunt, tracking down all these "must haves"! Lainie:) :)
Whoey Posted March 11, 2006 #10 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Febreeze is a good product as it gets rid of the Casino smoke smell on your clothes and in your cabin. We took both and I tried the Iron Free product twice, it didn't seem to do much and to iron a shirt in the Laundry is like 5 minutes anyway so I abandoned the product and did this each day. I found Iron Free at Bi-Lo, I also couldn't find it at Safeway or Coles in Melbourne. I highly recommend Febreeze and was dissapointed with Iron Free. Hope that helps :)
maxx Posted March 11, 2006 #11 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Hi all Fabulon Iron free should be available in the laundry section in both Coles & Woolies. I've been using this product for ages and never had a problem finding it. How about emailing Fabulon....you might get a free sample!

I'm not sure which ship Suexxx will be on, but I have only bought (& experimented with) the Iron Free product because the Star doesn't have a laundry! Otherwise I would dash down & iron things myself as well! Cheers
karmac Posted March 12, 2006 #14 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Just wondering who makes Febreeze please Thankyou Can't find anywhere on the bottle that says who makes it but there is a website address www.febreze.com Karen
karmac Posted March 12, 2006 #15 Share Posted March 12, 2006 I have experimented with the Fabulon Iron Free and found it to be ok. Having said that, I only tried it on a shirt that came out of the drawer with those wrinkles in that they get from sitting there. I didn't try it on something that had just been washed & not ironed at all. I don't think it is intended for that. Any washing I do on the ship I intend to iron. I got it mainly to use on things that have been ironed but have the loose creases in from being packed in the suitcase. Karen
cruiselover96 Posted March 13, 2006 #16 Share Posted March 13, 2006 I bought the Fabulon Iron Free stuff and thought I'd give it a go on a linen shirt. Was very impressed!! So I'm going to take my linen shirt with me now! I also bought the Febreeze. I had looked everywhere for both and found the Febreeze in Big W at Ringwood and the Fabulon Iron Fee from K-mart.
