Aos 3/12 Rain!!!!

Well, in two days I'll be on the AOS. The weather report for every port, all week, calls for Rain or Scattered Showers!!! I can not believe it! I guess I'll pack the unbrella! :0(

I am sure your cruise will not be ruined by rain, it is not the rainy season in the Caribbean. Your days will be very hot and very sunny. If by chance you do get a shower, it will be very brief and not a torrential shower. I live in the Caribbean and we have been getting nothing but sunny days this month.

As syndyj said, Caribbean forecasts are like Houston in the summertime: they will predict rain everyday because there is likely to be a brief shower, but most of the day will be sunny and warm. There have been lots of posts on here about people that had the same forecast you are looking at and ended up with only one brief shower on one island.

Some of my best cruises started with a rainy day...so what...it never rains long. Bring an umbrella if you want...but remember it's warm rain and you won't melt.:)

I agree with the above comments. On my last AOS cruise, we had rain. Everyday a shower came through on each island. We still went on every excursion that we had booked. It actually added to my experience (kinda gave it a more tropical feel). Liquid sunshine, as they say in the islands. Have fun on your cruise. A little rain is a whole lot better than a little hurricane...... Oooops, I said the "h" word.:p

Don't stress about it. Before we went in Dec. I was seeing the same type of forecast. In actuality there was very little rain, lots of sun, and it was a great cruise. So go and have fun.
