preschool teacher Posted March 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2006 i read about 4 places near the cruise ship pier that you can walk to and snorlkel from the beach......... is it worth it????? is any snorkleing good there?? beside stingray city.... i've been to some great and amazing places to snorkle and i'm afraid i'll be dissapointed... i was highly dissapionted in the snorkling in cozumel....... thanks for any help......... quiltsnh Posted March 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2006 We went to Eden Rock last time we were in GC. We had done Coral Graden and Sting ray the time before. We would def. go back again... you walk to the right as you get off tender about 1/2 mile. They have a restauarant/equipment rental picnic table and a few lounge chairs. You godown stairs into water there is a hand rail but basically sit ion the stairs and push off. Immediately you are surrounded by beautiful fish of all sizes (groupers 2 ft long!) swim further out and it is amazing. I would highly recc. this spot.
