Beach Suggestions

Fun Loving

Recommended Posts

Maya Palms is where our group of 13 went and we had a great day. (6 adults, 7 children) The food and drinks were good, they had a lady there for massages, we heard she was good, but we didn't get one. There is a fresh water pool and plenty of tables and chairs and even a few hammocks. Our day included 1/2 hour kayak rental which was fun. The owners of the resort are very nice. It was a fun day and we didn't have to worry about crowds, the resort and beach are private. Beautiful gardens and even a "pyramid" to climb. It takes about 20 minutes to get there but well worth it. Good luck!

Yes I suggest you visit the village of Mahahual about a $ 2 per person taxi ride- and go to Pez Quadro, its a beach bar at the end of the 'road' they have a great bar - open bar for $ 30 per person, use of their beach area etc....here is the link to register

http://www.pezquadro.com/ this will give you an idea of the beach etc...I went there in early December 2004 and am going back there on the Explorer week of April 9th.....

Enjoy:D
