Italy Airport strike changed from May 19 to June 4

Flying in on Delta, leaving June 3 scheduled to arrive at FCO June 4 at 10:20am.  Anyone with Italy airport strike experience…. how does this affect flights?  Are all flights cancelled, delayed or is it certain airlines?  Looked at switching days but flights totally booked days before and after as a busy travel season.  Just trying to sort this information out in my head.  My total excitement now has turned into some anxiety!

I’m waiting to see as well.  Flying United June 3, connecting through Frankfurt into FCO at  5:40 PM.

From what I’ve read, ground and bagging handling all Italian airports.   One article said by Italy law, they have to allow guaranteed flight departures, 6-9 AM, and 6-9 PM.    I didn’t find anything on arrivals.

there is also a 24-hour strike that day on flight crews from Air Dolomites and ITA airlines.

I don’t have experience, just what I have been reading.
