Transport to Airport from ship in Venice?

How does one get to the airport other than by using ship transfer on big bus? Any ideas out there, please? Can we get taxis?Where do we need to go to get a taxi? Help, we are on the cruise next month Istanbul to Venice on April 23rd.:)

Cabs right outside airport can deliver you directly to the ship. Then, if you are in port for a day or so, you can take local water bus to bop around the city. It's dead EZ.

You can hire a transfer from this company who we have used, cost is much less than the ships transfers..and car will be waiting for you when you get off the ship .

I just found Shuttle direct website that will take us from Venice airport to the cruise terminal for $32.10 for a direct and private transfers. Have anyone used them before? Any other suggestions? Thanks! MuiR
