I hope you can make a nice night out of it anyway. Feel better!

In France I'm seeing prices between €250 and €500 retail. We had it last night…listed as 2013/2014 but serving 2016. Very nice. Saving the Corton for a special birthday dinner.

techteach Posted July 13, 2023 #30 Share Posted July 13, 2023 I thought of both of you @NE John and @D&N. My hands never touched the wine list. DH was having too much fun. I also wasn’t told how much $$$$.

techteach Posted July 13, 2023 #32 Share Posted July 13, 2023 We really enjoyed this wine and ordered it several times as it was great with lunch and then a 1st glass at dinner.

Not familiar with this last wine. Looks like a good summer wine with decent alcohol level.
Rare NE John Posted July 24, 2023 Author #34 Share Posted July 24, 2023 On Apple TV, check out the series “Drops of God”. The series is very wine centric with many scenes shot in France and Tokyo. It’s in French, Japanese, and English. The series has nothing to do with Cunard or travel but all about wine and it’s entertaining to watch too. techteach Posted July 24, 2023 #35 Share Posted July 24, 2023 @NE John Alas, I do not subscribe to Apple TV. The trailer looks good.

It’s worth getting a trial or one month subscription for Apple TV to watch this one.
joey1000 Posted July 25, 2023 #37 Share Posted July 25, 2023 Iconic Chardonnays possibly but, without being told which precise vintages are being served in advance, rather pointless!
