After, you’ll arrive at Fulton Ferry Landing, where the first ferry set sail between Brooklyn and Manhattan in 1642. These days, it’s a prime vantage point for checking out the Brooklyn Bridge in all its glory. Your guide will tell you all about the 19th-century bridge’s construction and history. You’ll make your way across the bridge – all one and a half miles of it – pausing to read the historic plaques and admire the views along the way. If you look up, you might even spot one of the peregrine falcons that perch on the suspension bridge’s web of cables. Later, you’ll head back towards the Financial District, where the bus will be waiting.
