lynnfromwigan Posted July 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Hi, We will be tendering in Phuket (7.00 am) and are there for 2 days. Just wondering does anyone know what time is tendering likely to start and finish. Considering booking a trip from Phuket but not sure what time we will get ashore. Thank you in advance for any information. Lynn
Rare prmssk Posted July 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Tendering starts as soon as the ship is cleared and the tenders are in the water and ready. Priority goes to suites, those on Celebrity excursions, and often those with loyalty (although this priority can vary). Everyone else gets a ticket from some central location (like the martini bar) and waits for their ticket number to be called. Once there are no longer lines (usually after a couple hours), they won't require tickets anymore and you can just directly get in line. Tenders will continue while you are in port (although they won't run as many in the middle of the night) and the last tender usually leaves 1 hour before sail away (they will tell you the exact time once you are on board).
lynnfromwigan Posted July 21, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted July 21, 2023 Thank you so much prmssk. Trying to decide if we could book an independent trip to some of the islands with a local agent. So it will depend on what time these pick up. Getting back not a problem as we are overnight plus the nextd day in Phuket. xx
