Western Caribbean, which side for the best views?

We are taking the western side of the caribbean, which side of the ship would have the best views coming into port?

I have approached the western ports from different angles on different cruises. I would say usually port but don't kick me if they don't. GC I have always had better views from port and both Jamaica ports as well.
