Conquest - flying in

We will be flying into Hobby on Southwest on the Sunday morning of our cruise. Anyone else fly Southwest into Houston the "day of"? Please tell me how that worked out for you.

Hobby is not but maybe in hour..(1 1/2 hrs. STRETCHING IT) away from Galveston..the ship leaves at around 4 (But I've seen it leave much later).Just depends on traffic.

Did this from PHX on SWA on 2/26/06 (day of cruise). We originally had were on a 7:50 non-stop, but it was cancelled. We ended up on a 9:30 am flight through San Antonio, plane broke in PHX, had to change planes in San Antonio and we still arrived at Hobby at 12:30 pm. Took a Galveston Shuttle scheduled for 1:30 that left at 2:00 and arrived at dock at 3:00. Embarkation took over an hour, but then, we were on vacation.
