For the cruise lottery you can go to the Front Office and you can get 3 chances for $20 (they will take cash or charge your onboard account). They write your name and cabin number on forms that are similar to those used when buying bingo cards - there is a white, pink and yellow copy. The Front desk keeps the white copy, gives you the pink copy and puts the yellow copy in a clear locked box. So we had 3 yellow copies in the box. At the last Jackpot Bingo on the day before the cruise ended a passenger who did not purchase a "lottery ticket" was asked to draw one yellow copy out of the box (after they shook it up really well) and that person was the winner. Winner did not have to be present to win. We happened to go because we wanted to play Bingo and they did the draw before starting Bingo. You can also buy the lottery chances at Bingo.
