Paradise - smoke free?

I know I am behind the times, but the find feature is still not working and I have gone back 20 pages and have not found anything. So, I am sure you guys will know.

 

Is the Paradise no longer going to be a smoke free ship? I read it on the RCCL board, but I could not find anything on Carnival's website.

Paradise is smoke-free only up to and including the repo cruise to the west coast. After that, {cough} {hack} {wheeze} {gasp}.

 

Eleven cruises so far. Up next:

Carnival Valor 10/30/05 CC Group

Perhaps something else as well. Watch this space.

tef - thanks for the information. I admit I fit the mold of the non-smoker that does not drink or gamble a lot and I know that was an issue with the Paradise.

 

I can sure spend money at the spa and on excursions though!

 

I am sure there was a gripe post about this at some point and I just haven't looked on the boards in a while. It gets me depressed when I am not planning a cruise.

Paradise leaves Miami for LA on Sept.5 She will be smoke free until Sept.20 when she arrives in LA. She will be doing 3/4 day cruises out of LA. The 9/20 sailing out of LA will be her first smoking permitted cruise....EVER. Even her construction workers and later her crew, all had to be smoke free.
