Carolinagirl2417 Posted September 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2023 My husband and I are debating a very last minute repositioning cruise on the Spirit out of Seattle in less than 2 weeks! There is one extended balcony left, but it is 4 doors down from the O2 club and directly over the main lounge. We bring noise machines, but aren't sure if that would even make a difference for sleeping during shows. We aren't night owls, lol! We are assuming there will be fewer kids on this cruise since it is 16 days, so we aren't as concerned about the O2 club. There are some regular balconies left that might be quieter at night, but the extended deck is really appealing for the Panama Canal transit! Thanks! Old Fart Cruisers Posted September 7, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2023 We were in room 5110 on an Alaskan cruise on Spirit last month. It's 5 rooms away from Club 02, with only one balcony room foreword of that room (the three cabins foreword of that are inside cabins). We didn't notice any noise from Club 02, however we did notice a lot of kids running down the hallway to the club. The only other noise problem that we had was the balcony partitions rattled really loudly at night. The screws holding the bracket were completely rusted away and just wedged against the edge of the bracket instead of going through it. We called guest services after the first night and sent someone who put two additional screws though it. That did help to quiet it down quite a bit, but it does still rattle a lot. Carolinagirl2417 Posted September 7, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted September 7, 2023 Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! We are looking at 5108, so this is extremely helpful! So you didn't hear a lot from the main lounge entertainment? Also, how old to you have to be to join the Old Fart Cruisers?!! We are both getting ready to turn 50 🙂

They'll be another door in your cabin that connects to 5106. 🍹
Old Fart Cruisers Posted September 8, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2023 Our friends were in 5108. It was the devider between 5108 & 5110 that was the worst. They didn't have any issues with their room other than that rattling divider, which was much quieter after they put those extra screws. Being so far forward there is definitely more motion than midship.
