trustthedj Posted March 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2006 We will be on the Spirit next week and have made our plans for Acapulco and Ixtapa, but still have not decided on what to do in Manzanillo - mostly torn between carnival's excursion to the beach resort, or doing our own thing at Las Hadas. Any ideas, thoughts, hints, suggestions, please, please, please!!!

soniamarie Posted March 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2006 I agree, go to Las Hadas. It was my favorite port day on the cruise. Beautiful and it wasn't that pricey of a day for us.
Devo1459 Posted March 21, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Did you take a taxi to Las Hadas? Or does the Carnival excursion go there?
cruisermpaul Posted March 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2006 Did you take a taxi to Las Hadas? Or does the Carnival excursion go there? Taxi was $10 each way - and that was for 30 minutes each way! I don't know about the Carnival excursion. At the time we went they weren't disclosing which resort hotel they were using for the excursion destination. I wouldn't even bother booking thru Carnival. This is an easy and friendly place - and plenty of taxis.
Bucky3 Posted March 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 25, 2006 We really enjoyed the ship's excursion to the Cuyutlan Turtle park. It was a very nice day, good lunch - served after releasing tiny turtles into the sea at a restaurant right on the beach. Huge waves were coming in that day in December.
