CLM3 Posted March 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2006 DH and I are going on June 3rd cruise. I thought somewhere I saw that the Panorama Grill had sit down dinners, but buffet lunch & bkfst. Is this correct? Also, how hard is it to get a table for 2 for dinner in the other restaurants. We are going for our 10th Annv. and thought it might be nice to eat alone one night. Thanks,
tef43 Posted March 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2006 Is this correct? Absolutely false. The lido buffet is buffet-style all the time. Your *regular* dining room seating assignment will be the same every night. You may not have a two-top for just one night.
Cotton Posted March 19, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2006 Tef is correct. You might check with the Maitre d' about having a two-top for your dining assignment in the formal dining room...but it would be for the entire cruise, not just one night. Happy Anniversary.:)
CLM3 Posted March 20, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Thanks ... Maybe we'll check on arrival. Does Panorama Grill have different menu every night or is it basically the same buffet items. Its nice to have a buffet option, we did Disney Wonder and they only have the sit down's or room service for dinner. Thanks again !!
Cotton Posted March 20, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2006 I've never had a meal from the buffet - but I understand it changes every evening, and many folks seem to enjoy that type dining. (I prefer fine dining with personalized service, but that's just my preference.):D As for room service, there's a nice selection of items, but no hot foods delivered to cabins. mrdood Posted March 20, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2006 You could eat at the buffet every night and not have the same thing - well unless you are a pig like me and eat three times what I should ;)
