Guaranty Room - board early?

I have a cruise coming in a couple weeks (1st time on Celebrity). If you have a guaranty room -- if you board early do you generally get a better room assignment than if you board later when the assignments have mostly been made?

The room assignments should have been completed before sail day, if you did not get a cabin assignment by now just check out your reservation on line, you should find the cabin number listed there.

Happy cruising :) :)
