SuiteCruising Posted March 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2006 This will be our first holiday cruise and I was wondering if New Year's Eve (Formal Night) in the main dining room is anything special. We are trying to decide whether to book the specialty restaurant or eat in the dining room. Thanks for any information. Bob

Bob I've done Christmas and New Year's about ten times on Celebrity and in my opinion, I think the formal nights have the best menus, so I wouldn't skip them . Do the specialty retaurant on another night for even finer dining. Nothing special except that formal nights are always special. Big party starts out by the pool around eleven--don't miss it--it's great fun.
casavaha Posted March 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2006 We were on the Century this last NYE. Great party by the pool. When we were on there was no specialty restaurant. Do that another night. We are on the Mercury for Christmas and New Years this year.
SuiteCruising Posted March 20, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Thank you both for the information. Sounds like the dining room for New Year's Eve. Bob
