Port Everglades car rental

We are flying into/out of PBI for our cruise and need to rent a van to get back and forth. Which company would be the best? I called the only number Thrifty had (which was for all the south Florida locations) and they said the only location that has a shuttle is the airport one and of course it costs more from there. I know Budget has a location right by the pier - is this probably the best bet or is the shuttle to the airport convenient? Also, there are 8 of us so should the driver drop everyone else off and take the shuttle or with the traffic would it be a hassle for the driver to have to go through the traffic twice?

We were told there is a free shuttle to the port.

Do you have a phone number for them? The only number I can find is for all of the south Florida locations and a gentleman there told me that a shuttle is only provided to/from the airport location. How did you find your info? Thanks for your help!

We called the 1.877.283.0898 #. We booked in December with information from this board. Possible something has changed with the car rentals at FLL. Good luck

Thanks for all your help guys. We found an even better rate on Thrifty but called again and this time were told that only the Miami Rd. location provided a shuttle. So we have that now booked - one less thing to think about.
