Mercury Passenger Age Mix?

Just wondering...we are considering booking a last minute cruise on the Mercury for late April to the Mexican Riviera. Since it is a 10 day, we know it probably tends to attract an older crowd. We are no spring chickens ourselves, being in our early 50's, however, we definitely are not in the "I have to be in bed by 9 or 10 p.m." group for sure! So...I was wondering if anyone who has cruised recently could share with me if there is fun going on in the evenings, after dinner, on this ship? We aren't party animals by any stretch of the imagination, but would hate to think we would be the only ones roaming the lounges after dark!!!! Please share your experiences...and remember, we aren't putting any one down who is an early bird, it would just be fun to think there might be a bit of a party atmosphere in the evenings. Thanks...Linda

We have taken the cruise your considering, and we are in our 50's. There is plenty of nightlife. If you have late seating, the theater show (at times) doesn't even start until 10:30...and the casino is open late. Then there is dancing in the Rendevous Lounge, and of course of the Martini Bar...always a popular place. We have sailed on Mercury 4 times, and always enjoy this beautiful ship.

Karyn...thanks for your input! It sounds like we may not be the only ones looking to have some late evening fun. I probably shouldn't be such a big talker cause after getting everything ready at home and work on such a short timeline, we'll probably be the ones in bed right after dinner every night!Seriously, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Now I am just hoping it all works out so we actually get to go. Happy cruising! Linda

P.S. We actually toured the Mercury when it was brand new and docked in San Diego. That's before Celebrity became a part of RCCL and they had special events for Captain's Club members. It is a beautiful ship...sounds like they have tried to keep it that way. Hope we enjoy it as much as the other Celebrity ships we have been on!
